Hello Dear Duck Fans, Hello Dear Fans,

We just came back from one of the toughest and most successful weekends for our team. We played three matches in tough conditions, and we had to come from behind in all three of them after we lost the doubles point in all the matches.

On Friday, we played against New Mexico State, and we beat them 4-3, winning at the Nos. 1, 4, 5 and 6 positions. We started the match on a bad note losing the doubles point, and losing first set, in all singles matches except for my match and CK's match. But the guys kept fighting and we pulled an important win that gave us a lot of confident and motivation for the next two matches.

On Saturday, we beat Texas Arlington 5-2, but we lost the doubles point again. But then we came with strong performance in all singles matches, and almost winning all of them, with Manu almost upsetting the # 3 ranked singles player nationally, but fell 6-4 in the third set.

On Sunday, we had another big and close 4-3 win over University of New Mexico. We lost the doubles point again, but managed to get a win after winning my match, and Sven's match. CK, with another great fight brought the score to 3-3, and then it was Gringo at No. 6 spot who clinched the match 6-3 in the third set.

We are 9-2 right now, and we are very happy to find a way to get away with three good wins on the road. But we have to keep up the hard work because this weekend we will face two good teams as well. On Friday we will host Sacramento State, and then we leave on Saturday to play UCSB in Santa Barbara on Sunday.

I hope to see a lot of you fans on Friday, with a lot of energy because that's our last home match before spring break.

Go Ducks!!
